I started to put up photos from this wedding over here, and I’m finally finishing up the preview below.

I had forgotten about photos from this trip to the North Georgia Wine Highway Weekend back in March. All the NoGa vineyards get together one weekend a year and collaborate on a weekend of winery tours. Now, not all of them are all that close together, so it’s great if you can rent a cabin and stay up there for a weekend. We were supposed to have a group of 8 – at the last minute it became 5, and it was still such a great, great weekend. I laughed a lot, I saw lots of pretty things, and I sampled my fair share of wine.
Makes me a little bit nostaligic for spring, but mostly it makes me really excited for fall! I just need to take a look at these once in a while and think about getting out of the city.
Our modest little mountains:
And it’s good to note… you may not always have your camera with you for every moment you want to remember. Your phone isn’t always the perfect substitute, but sometimes it works pretty well. May be a little rough, but so where the photos of my earliest memories, and those are still some of my favorites. For a lunch-time toast this weekend, my phone was perfect enough.
Sunday we were hanging out in Piedmont Park, and tomorrow they move to France! (I have to say, I got pretty jealous… France, at the foot of the Alps, with Switzerland and Spain nearby? Yes please. I might be ready for a break from the Atlanta summer – and a great big summer vacation…) But I’m so glad I got to meet them before they left. Such a fun family – and I really did catch some excitement for them as they begin this next adventure. (I promise to try my best not to show up at their door with a suitcase in hand.) But for this last week in Atlanta, we took a few pictures to remember their time here. In our best park, with a little bit of the city’s midtown around us. Here’s just a few photos from the day.
Yes, Cason and Christian got married! And I got to photograph the wedding with my mom, Bethany Riggs, who has much more experience with assembling these large groups together for their portrait shots. As a result, I have so many photos that I decided to split up this preview. Here’s a look at the last hours before the ceremony, hanging out at First Presbyterian Church in Atlanta. Time with the family, and of course some good friends to help you get ready.
We’ve reached the 1 year mark for Jack! He’s looking like a little man with all those teeth… I think he’ll be taking charge of that house soon.
We photographed Jack at 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, and now finally at 12. Let’s have a little look back before we get to his birthday set… hee.
Jennifer and Bethany, these are AWESOME. Thank you so much for doing such a great job.
