I love hearing stories about these two boys, and was so, so excited to meet them in person. They were visiting from out of town, but were the kind of family I’d love to live next door to. Wish I could see more of them!
It was 106 degrees on a Saturday afternoon, and we had the pond to ourselves. (Well, except for a very colorful Quinceanera which paraded through at one point. If you see the older brother staring into the distance with a puzzled/thoughtful look, he was probably watching a girl in a bright orange gown dance around amongst the ducks for the her pre-party video.) I was much impressed with these two in the heat – they kept finding new ways to play, with no complaining!
